Dr. Kevin Wendell
I love practicing dentistry here in Westport. It’s a wonderful community with very kind people. Being able to help others keep their teeth for the rest of their life is emotionally rewarding for me. I am a strong promoter of our motto “Healthy Habits for Life”, emphasizing preventative dentistry on a regular basis.
I graduated from the University of Tennessee, College of Dentistry where I received numerous awards for excellence in dental research. During my studies, I investigated the effects of smoking on gum disease. I have published in multiple journals and presented my research around the country. Currently, I focus my time on continuously learning new dental techniques and the most modern methods in patient care.
I am the Past President of the Southeastern District of the Massachusetts Dental Society for the 2016/2017 year as well as the ethics committee and review board for the Southeastern District. I am a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the International College of Oral Implantologists.
I grew up in New England. I currently reside in Providence with my wife and two beautiful children. When I am not at the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and my great friends. Together we enjoy skiing, running, cooking and traveling.
Rebecca K. Dansereau, Office Manager / Financial Coordinator
I have been the office manager now for 4 years and with the practice for over 15 years. I continue to enjoy assisting our patients with their dental benefits and creating financial arrangements that allow patients to receive the dental treatment they deserve.
I graduated from Bristol Community College with an Associate’s degree in Business Administration. This year I will continue to attend seminars on HIPPA, human resources and management laws to keep our office up to the current standards and running smoothly.
When I am not in the office, I love spending time with my active son Patrick and husband Chris. I also love baking cookies and reading when I have the time.

I have been working as a dental assistant for 5 years and here at Dr. Wendell’s practice since November 2017. Westport is my hometown, where I grew up and went to school. I thoroughly enjoy working with patients. Helping them maintain their smile is always my goal!
My husband and I have been married for 3 years and live in Swansea with our amazing 2 year old daughter Summer. She and I love painting and being outside. When I am not at work, I enjoy playing with my energetic German Shepherds Cali and Guinness, playing field hockey and gardening with my husband.
Ann Cordeiro, R.D.H.
I have been working full time as a dental hygienist for over 2 decades. Westport is home to my family which includes my husband Carlos, sons Kyle and Jordan, and a very spoiled pet boxer named Bella.
I consider it a privilege to treat so many wonderful area families. Through continuing education courses, I stay committed to help my patients keep their smile healthy for a lifetime. I also love to share my tips I’ve learned on whole body/mind wellness.
During my free time, I love to practice yoga and pilates, walk on the beach and plan my next trip.
Rebecca Theberge, R.D.H.
I joined our dental team as a hygienist in 2005. I take great pride in patient care and love interacting with patients to make the dental experience as great as possible. Recently, I moved to Portsmouth, RI with my daughter Brooklyn, fiancée Jamie, and our two dogs. Spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, walking, being outdoors-especially on the water, and cooking all keep me busy when I’m not at the office.
Christine Oliveira, R.D.H.
I have been a dental hygienist in this office since 1989. I love working in my hometown of Westport, where I see old friends and meet new people daily. I enjoy dental hygiene and always do my best to improve our patient’s dental experiences and dental education. Staying current with continuing education is very important to me and the entire team. It’s a commitment taken seriously in helping maintain our patient’s dental health.
When not in the office, I try to spend my free time with my family, my favorite thing to do. I enjoy attending the kids sporting events, playing tennis, and the beautiful outdoor activities in Westport.
Julie Baker, Patient Coordinator
Since 2003, I have been greeting patients here in Westport. I enjoy being able to help our patients with planning for the treatment they deserve. When I am not at the office, you can find me with my two teenagers, our dog Max, making chocolate chip cookies or planning our next trip to Disney World.
